In a collaboration with Project Cedrus, Foil Drive announced an integration of their Foil Drive Assist with the Project Cedrus Mast. A custom top plate and motor pod allows the motor cable to be run internally through the mast directly to the motor. This makes for a clean install with no tape, reducing drag and increasing efficiency.

According to The Foiling Magazine, Decathalon's Olaian SAFE 500 foil "...has a really graduated, balanced lift. It feels really easy to pop up on it – without lifting too early – and is then easy to trim. The flight is balanced and easy to manage, the foil responds slowly and provides exceptional stability." Windows in wings – a common topic of discussion among performance focused wingfoilers. Windows are useful in crowded conditions and for keeping an eye out for fast moving boats, but they add weight and, at least with current material technology, reduce a wing's performance life expectancy.
